In the race against nature, no amount of training can be taken to be sufficient.

Often, when we come across a tool/technique, we evaluate it to make a decision. Will it be useful in my profession/in my life? is what we ask ourselves.

Inspite of the elegance of the tool, for lack of what we see as utility, we neglect it. This is what inspired the first line.
